Candle Auctions
This is typically a standard Forward auction, where the highest bidder wins. All features of a forward auction can be used; however, the end date is often shown in a vague format (for example, closes today in the afternoon). This incites bidding during the lot, rather than, in most cases at the point at which the lot is due to end.
