Handshake auction is a proprietary auction model developed by Red2 for the auctioning of items which have brand value. Forward auctions for consumers require that the price be shown; this sets a pricing expectation which can be harmful to brands. Handshake auction allows sellers to auction inventory in an effective manner and gives buyers a real value proposition.
